One Grass & A Wood
Purpose of the Programme
Participants will learn some basic ideas about elements of art, drawing and watercolor painting skills.

Participants create their art books, which allow themselves, their family members, friends and the staff from the HKCF to appreciate and understand the participants’ abilities and feelings through their expressed artworks.

Through the creative process, participants will be encouraged to reconnect with nature. Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes people feel better emotionally, it contributes to our physical wellbeing. This enables the participants to experience and discover the artistic and aesthetic qualities on a normal daily basis.

Create a chance for the participants, facilitator and staff members to connect, communicate and support one another.
